Model Kits
These are mechanical flying birds that you build yourself from a kit. They fly by flapping wings, powered by a rubber band. They are not radio-controlled, and therefore they are inexpensive and you can build the whole thing yourself. A rewarding school project or hobby for ages 12 & up.
